Welcome to Weddings at The Eddie Prince Edward County

The Iconic Red Barn holds up to 165 people. With 50 foot ceilings at it's highest point, this 1860's wedding and event venue is one of Prince Edward  County's most iconic venues. The barn is heated for spring, fall and winter weddings, and has a separate bar area, commercial kitchen and recently renovated washroom facilities. 

Rental of the Red Barn and the pond ceremony site for your wedding  includes the Sheep Shed as a rain day back up, allowing you're wedding to be magica, no matter what the forecast. 

Built in the 1920's, The Sheep Shed makes an excellent ceremony shelter for rainy days, intimate rehearsal dinners or a  late night lounge.  

To ensure all weddings are able to proceed rain or shine, The Sheep Shed is available for all wedding couples as their rainy day ceremony back up, and can hold up to 130 seated guests, with tents available for the overflow to 165 guests. 

If you have rented the property for the weekend, The Sheep Shed makes the ideal space for rehearsal dinners or pst wedding brunches. 

The Pond at The Eddie sits against the backdrop of lush pastures and gardens, and the iconic Red Barn in the background. The Pondside ceremony site is the ideal location for your nuptials in spring, summer and fall. 

Your venue rental includes choice of fabric for the arbor, white hanging baskets, access to AV and signing table. 

With our Bridal Studio and dressing rooms located in the west wing of the barn, you and your wedding party can enjoy the day getting ready  together, in this fully equipped and air conditioned suite. 

The Bridal Studio is equipped with iron and ironing board, clothes steamer, hair dryers, curlers and two 3 piece washrooms, making the suite ideal for wedding parties from 2 to 10. 

With an extensive décor inventory included in your rental, event organizers have access to a  variety of options to create a tablescape that is perfect for you. With everything from several candle votives options, to  vases in many sizes, and table runners in your choice of colour, to different chair and table styles, The Eddie has all the items you need to give your event the look and feel that best reflects you, without having to add additional rentals your event budget. 

Tucked in to the foundations of the main barn, Ruby's Clubhouse is ideal  for small dinners, cocktail functions, and rehearsal dinners. With private entrance and direct access to the gardens giving guests the intimate feel of this space, with the lawn games garden just outside the door. Ideal for fun and relaxed functions and couples looking for a less formal feel. 

Makes an excellent casual venue for rehearsal dinners, family gatherings and intimate parties. 

This historic Main House,  with original details meticulously in tact, accommodates up to 10 guests overnight or 16 guests at one table for private dinners, smaller celebrations, or showers. High Tea packages available up to 25 guests, making The Eddie unique amongst wedding and event venue options in Prince Edward County with onsite accommodation, and a variety of elegant spaces for you to enjoy.

"Alex and Mike were amazing to us for our wedding this past August. Not only did they accommodate a last minute booking given a cancellation from our original venue, they truly put their blood, sweat and tears into making our night perfect. For starters, our walkthroughs were thorough, and our external caterer loved working with The Eddie team. Prior to our evening I had some questions around the costs of our open bar bill going into the evening, and Alex's estimate/forecast on volume consumed was spot on. During the evening, Mike and Alex showed an insane degree of flexibility. From getting the fire pit started to accommodate our guests desires, to chasing down my bride and I to ensure we had a chance to cut the cake despite the commotion of a wedding night, to their hustle in getting the dance floor set up... these guys know how to take care of a party. We brought our bikes and jumped onto The Millennium Trail which is easily accessible from the back of the property. We biked to some wineries and came back to enjoy live entertainment on site.
