Overnight Accommodation

Reopened fully in 2022, The Eddie offers overnight accommodation options including  one of the elegant bedrooms in the 1860's Main House with 10' ceilings, or cozy chic in the  charming 2 bedroom Carriage House. Individual suites available for 2 nights minimum, unless booked with an event. 

Enjoy the freshest breakfast possible, with farm fresh egg's from our coop, grass fed bacon and sausage, waffles from our farmers market and fresh baked pastries. 

Guests can enjoy breakfast in teh main dinning room, or in summer, on one of several outdoor seating areas ideal for a relaxed holiday breakfast. 

The property features several locations for groups large and small. The original 1860s Red Barn is one of the most iconic and sought after venues in the area. Formerly known as Fields on West Lake, and now under new ownership, the property is most well known for beautiful weddings by the pond, followed by a reception in the majestic Red Barn. With 50 foot ceilings at its highest peak, and nearly 160 years old, you won't find another venue like it in The County. 

  Welcome to County life! Spend time exploring our 78-acre farm including private pond, orchards and gardens, or, with our direct connection to the 49km Millennium Trail, grab one of our bikes or snowshoes, and get out and enjoy nature.  Situated between Wellington and Bloomfield, The Eddie is ideally located to explore all The County had to offer. 

Just minutes from the shops of Bloomfield, the Beaches and Restaurants  in Wellington, and directly on the Millennium Trail, The Eddie is in the heart of The County, close to Sandbanks Provincial Park, and dozens of galleries and wineries. 

Formerly Blooms on West Lake,  Nellie's features several local cheese makers and thanks to a partnership with Cheese Boutique in Toronto, some of the best cheeses from around the world. We will also feature a selection of products to make the life of every host easier. From  hostess gifts to candles and thank you notes,  Nellie's is more than just cheese, and we are  here to help with your next gathering or event. 

With direct access to the Millennium Trail and situated between Wellington and Bloomfield, we are ideally located for you to explore the County. 

But on the property we have so many other areas created for our guests to enjoy. 

From hammocks rocking softy at the pond's edge, to outdoor BBQ areas for you to enjoy lunch in the sun, to lounge areas overlooking the fountain, we have a number of onsite areas for guests to relax and unwind. 

WIFI throughout the property covering all buildings on the property, and all Suites equipped with cable TV and Netflix, and an extensive collection of board games and activities,  we have the rainy days covered too.
